Santana Kortum

Born and raised in Anaconda, Montana, Santana attended the University of Montana and earned a B.A. in History with a minor in Political Science. She studied abroad in Italy and worked for the social security administration before attending the University of Montana School of Law and earning her Juris Doctor. During law school, Santana worked for various law offices and completed her clinical in mediation while adopting twin sons, Michael and Madison, and a daughter, Gabriella.

As as attorney, based in Kalispell, Montana, she brings to the table a strong Montana work ethic and common sense while maintaining result orientated relationships with insurance carriers and opposing counsel. Santana is admitted to practice in Montana Administrative matters, Montana District Courts and Montana Federal District Courts.

The bulk of Santana’s case load involves successfully representing injured clients and families who have lost a loved one due to negligence. While the majority of Santana’s practice involves successfully handling serious medical malpractice and wrongful death claims, she has been a leader and proponent of protecting Montana citizens. As a proponent of consumer rights, she successfully represented Montanans in class actions against insurance companies and successfully challenged credit card mandatory arbitration clauses before the Montana Supreme Court. While representing clients in employment discrimination cases, she successfully petitioned the E.E.O.C. to bring action on behalf of a discharged employee after the E.E.O.C. had been absent from Montana for nearly a decade.

When not in court or in the office, she enjoys cheering for her son’s track team at Carroll College, coaching her daughter’s basketball teams, volunteering, running, hiking and travel.

Leslie Bahny

Leslie, our manager, has worked for our firm for several years. Leslie, like her parents and grandparents, was born and raised in Kalispell, where she graduated high school and earned her degree in Business Administration from Flathead Valley Community College. When not managing many of the office affairs and bringing smiles to the faces of our clients and those of us in the office, Leslie spends the majority of her time with her three daughters who are active in basketball, volleyball, swimming and cheerleading. In her down time, Leslie has a long history of giving back to our community by volunteering and sitting on various boards throughout the Flathead Valley.
